An amusement park called Lab-e-Mehran is located in Sukkur, Pakistan. It is located close to the Sukkur Barrage on the right side of the Indus River. It still needs work after being constructed for 120 million rupees. It is a popular tourist destination in Sukkur.
Lab-e-Mehran, the park with a walkway along the bank of the river Indus is a famous getaway for the citizens of Sukkur, Sindh, situated on the right bank of Indus River, adjacent to the Sukkur Barrage. It was built at a cost of 120 million rupees, and is still under development.
"Lab e Mehran" as name implies "Lip of the Indus".Someone poetically named this park on the right bank of Indus adjacent to Great Lloyd Barrage in Sukkur was made open to public of Sukkur some fifty years back.It was an essential & well received entertainment place by the citizens of the city & nearby towns,villages & visitors.A green place,green lawns & few trees, very cool due to mighty Indus flowing nearby.One can stroll by the river bank ,enjoy by hiring boat which can take you near the barrage & man-made island .At evening lot many children,women & men reach this place.Many vendors sailing ice cream,syrups ,beverages & some with eatables are seen fulfilling the need of visitors. Across the road is "Hotel Inter Park Inn".A neat & clean place for people affording to avail the posh inside,which has a parking facility available.The hotel itself feast for eyes being perched in between two canals of the right bank of Indus. One can satisfy the taste buds by consuming BBQ items as well. It’s famous among locals and visitors around the country for its beautiful landscape, with pleasant weather next to the river, and fun activities.
The Park is visited by families often has large gatherings of family- friends and relatives. Both demographics can visit this area as there is boating, fishing and small rides available. Every year, traditional festivals are organised by the government in Lab-e-Mehran for the general public and food stalls and children’s activities are also arranged Many locals arrange stall where they sell toys and handicrafts. There are restaurants available, while food stalls are arranged regularly by ladies who bring large quantities of food.

لیب مہران، دریائے سندھ کے کنارے ایک واک وے والا پارک سکھر، سندھ کے شہریوں کے لیے ایک مشہور راستہ ہے، جو سکھر بیراج سے متصل دریائے سندھ کے دائیں کنارے پر واقع ہے۔ یہ 120 ملین روپے کی لاگت سے تعمیر کیا گیا تھا، اور اب بھی زیر تعمیر ہے۔
"لیب مہران" جیسا کہ نام کا مطلب ہے "سندھ کا ہونٹ"۔ سکھر میں گریٹ لائیڈ بیراج سے متصل سندھ کے دائیں کنارے پر واقع اس پارک کا نام شاعرانہ طور پر کسی نے پچاس سال قبل سکھر کے عوام کے لیے کھول دیا تھا۔ شہر اور آس پاس کے قصبوں، دیہاتوں اور زائرین کے شہریوں کی طرف سے اچھی طرح سے پذیرائی کی گئی تفریحی جگہ۔ ایک سرسبز و شاداب جگہ، سبز لان اور چند درخت، قریب میں بہنے والی زبردست سندھ کی وجہ سے بہت ٹھنڈا ہے۔ کوئی بھی دریا کے کنارے ٹہل سکتا ہے، کشتی کرایہ پر لے کر لطف اٹھا سکتا ہے۔ آپ کو بیراج اور انسانوں کے بنائے ہوئے جزیرے کے قریب لے جا سکتے ہیں۔ شام کے وقت بہت سے بچے، خواتین اور مرد اس جگہ پہنچ جاتے ہیں۔ بہت سے دکاندار آئس کریم، شربت، مشروبات اور کچھ کھانے پینے کی اشیاء کے ساتھ سیاحوں کی ضرورت پوری کرتے نظر آتے ہیں۔ سڑک کے اس پار "ہوٹل انٹر پارک اِن" ہے۔ اندر موجود پوش سے فائدہ اٹھانے کے متحمل لوگوں کے لیے ایک صاف ستھری جگہ، جس میں پارکنگ کی سہولت موجود ہے۔ یہ ہوٹل خود دریائے سندھ کے دائیں کنارے کی دو نہروں کے درمیان بیٹھی آنکھوں کے لیے دعوت دیتا ہے۔
یہ ملک بھر کے مقامی لوگوں اور سیاحوں کے درمیان اپنے خوبصورت منظر نامے، دریا کے قریب خوشگوار موسم اور تفریحی سرگرمیوں کے لیے مشہور ہے۔
پارک کا دورہ خاندانوں کے ذریعہ کیا جاتا ہے جہاں اکثر خاندان کے دوستوں اور رشتہ داروں کے بڑے اجتماعات ہوتے ہیں۔
اورکیونکہ یہاں کشتی رانی، ماہی گیری اور چھوٹی سواریاں دستیاب ہیں۔
حکومت کی جانب سے ہر سال لیب مہران میں عام لوگوں کے لیے روایتی تہواروں کا اہتمام کیا جاتا ہے اور کھانے پینے کے اسٹالز اور بچوں کی سرگرمیوں کا بھی اہتمام کیا جاتا ہے۔ بہت سے مقامی لوگ اسٹال لگاتے ہیں جہاں وہ کھلونے اور دستکاری فروخت کرتے ہیں۔ یہاں ریستوراں دستیاب ہیں، جبکہ کھانے کے اسٹالز کا اہتمام خواتین کی طرف سے باقاعدگی سے کیا جاتا ہے جو بڑی مقدار میں کھانا لاتی ہیں۔
